AusTix is a half-price, day-of-performance ticket service for theater, dance and other performing arts events in Austin. Half-price ticket selection depends upon availability. AusTix frequently offers tickets to Esther's Follies, Live Oak Theatre at the State, Zachary Scott Theatre Center, Mary Moody Northen Theatre, Capitol City Playhouse, The Planet Theatre, UT Performing Arts Center and many others. AusTix is available through THE BOX OFFICE 603 N. Lamar (inside BookPeople), and is open Wednesdays-Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can also purchase AusTix half-price tickets at the Austin Visitor's Center, 2nd and San Jacinto on Thursdays-Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. To hear a current listing of half-price tickets, call:.
