The Circle
Established in 1974, the Austin Circle of Theaters is a non-profit arts service organization that acts as an umbrella for all theater organizations (70+ and counting) in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to make Austin an environment where theater flourishes. We encourage excellence in our theater community with annual awards ceremonies (The B. Iden Payne Awards), and serve as an information clearinghouse and a sponsor of many theatrical projects. The Austin Circle of Theaters can get you connected to the Austin theater community. If you have any questions about theater in Austin, just call Ann or Mary Alice in the Austin Circle of Theaters office at (512)499-8388. Office hours are 10 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays. The office is located in the heart of downtown Austin at 823 Congress Avenue, #5. Drop by!

Get Involved
Volunteer opportunities abound in Austin theaters. Call the Austin Circle of Theaters office at (512)499-8388 if you want to sew costumes, work in a box office or help slap labels! Also, donations to the Austin Circle of Theaters are always appreciated. All donations are tax-deductable.
