The Clarksville Jazz Festival

Diverse Arts presents The Clarksville Jazz Festival. We have a special wristband for $40 which gets you unlimited access to all Clarksville Jazz Festival events.

Saturday, June 14th and Sunday, June 15th – The Clarksville Jazz and Arts Festival at Pease Park, which is located just north of Lamar at Enfield, from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm both days. Advance tickets are $3.50 for adults, $3.00 for teens 13 to 18 yrs old, children 12 and under are free. Tickets at the door will be $5.00 for adults and all other ticket prices stay the same. There is plenty of parking at the Austin Recreation Center one block south of Lamar. This is a fun filled, entertaining, all-day open air music and arts festival featuring art sales, food and drinks, spoken word, dance and music.

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance for the following two performances:

Thursday, June 12th – Roy Hargrove and Crisol will perform at 8:00 pm at the State Theatre which is located at 719 Congress avenue between 7th and 8th streets. Advance tickets are $25 for best seating, $18 for general admission and $10 for the last 3 rows. At the door prices will be $27, $20, and $12. This performance features verve recording artist, trumpeter Roy Hargrove and his international 11-piece Latin jazz band Crisol. The opening act will be Austin’s Ta Mere.

Saturday June 14th – Ellis Marsalis in Concert at 10:00 pm at Cedar Street Jazz Club located at 208 West 4th Street between Colorado and Lavaca. All tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. This performance features the father of the New Orleans Marsalis jazz dynasty, pianist Ellis Marsalis and trio.
