The Jewel Ball

"In the Still of the Night," will be held on September 27 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Palmer Auditorium. Rotel and Hot Tomatoes and Mike Mordecai and Mady Kay will provide dance music. Don Strange will cater the event and a delightful auction will entice bidders to purchase items from local businesses. Sponsors for the event are Dillard’s (Platinum) Norwest Banks (Gold) and Girling Health Care (Silver). Gala tables are also available. Visiting Jewels from cities who are 1997 members of the Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras will join our Austin Royal Court for the presentation.

A Soiree Dansante begins the Jewel Ball festivities on August 31 at the Renaissance Hotel with 450-500 high school students attending.

A Luncheon and Fashion Show by Dillard’s featuring a special appearance by Victor Costa, who will be introducing a new line of daytime wear, will be held on September 26 at Palmer Auditorium.
