AUSTIN SYMPHONY’S HALLOWEEN CHILDREN’S CONCERTS

Music from the Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be featured at the Austin Symphony’s annual Halloween Children’s Concerts. Also on the program — 1996 Olympics Theme, Children’s Symphony, 3rd movement, selections from Suite from Water Music, Children’s Games, and selections from Mother Goose Suite.

Performances for the public will be held at 1:30 and 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, at the Paramount Theatre, 713 Congress. These concerts are geared for families with children aged 3-10. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume.

Narrated by emcee Marco Perella, the performances are designed to capture the imagination of the young audience. Children will be introduced to various instruments in the orchestra and learn about the music being performed.

Tickets are available through all UTTM outlets and at Paramount Theatre. Children’s tickets are $5 and $6 – Tickets for adults are $6 and $7. Call 442-5411 for ticket information and 477-6060 to charge tickets.
