Butterfly Gardening
Our October meeting will be in conjunction with Ted Fisher’s Fall Garden School. Geyata Ajilvsgi, noted author of Butterfly Gardening For The South and Wildflowers of Texas, will talk about landscaping for butterflies. Geyata will give a brief slide presentation and then answer questions on how to attract butterflies to our gardens. Some of the topics she will cover are:
- Nectar plants and how to use them in the garden.
- Larval plants and how to use them in the garden.
- Photography of butterflies
